Birds in Dutch Tiles

I was always fascinated by Dutch tiles. And of course tiles with pictures of nature. And specially with birds.
I drew a lot of tiles which was a good exercise to study them.

These drawings (coloured with watercolor) are from 1997.

This book about tiles (by Jan Pluis) was a gift from Mary and Lucien.
